After hardening it becomes a non-compression material which is insoluble in the distilled water at temperature 37°C. The thickness of the sealer (3-5 μm) allows the antiseptic product to enter micro canals easily. Eugenol softens the surface of the gutta-percha points, which allows us to achieve a tight filling of the root canal and isolate it from the bacteria.
