DSI SD-TR Tissue Punch Drills are used for maximum precision of soft tissue removal and with minimal trauma. It can be used before the implantation to expose the bone or after to uncover the implant for abutment installation. It reduces the postoperative pain, swelling, and discomfort for the patient. The punch drill is very sharp and can quickly penetrate the soft tissue. It is accurate and you can achieve a precise circular incision instead of using regular scalpels.
The drills prevent damage to the bone since they only slightly touch a single point. They are perforated for better air circulation and reduced heat generation.
